Texas State has been trying to build up their defensive depth this offseason and they continue to do so in July. These brothers have the talent even on a team that didn't in 2012.

Kolin Hill, linebacker for Samuel Clemens High School, which is located just 35 miles south of San Marcos, has been offered by the Bobcats and has Texas State high on his list after a Friday unofficial visit to campus.

Hill, who went winless at Clemens last season, has offers from UTEP, Holy Cross and Texas State and was offered by Coach Washington late last month. The 6'2", 214 pound defender earned second team all-district honors last season.

"Recruiting is going good," Hill said. "I'm working out with my trainer and going to camps to get better for this season."

Kolin's brother Kaleb also visited San Marcos Friday and has Texas State interest. Kaleb is a teammate of Kolin's at Clemens. Kolin Hill did not commit at his visit to campus Friday, but a commitment of any kind could come shortly.

"I've been thinking about a decision, but I'm not in any rush at the moment," Kolin Hill said. "There's always a chance I could make a decision."
