Two wide outs have already been targeted and a third from East Texas could soon be a target as well.

Year in year out, East Texas produces D1 athletes by the dozens. The 2015 class will be no exception and one of those prospects who's stock is on the rise is Tatum's Deyanta Roberson.

The 6'1" 180lb WR is still waiting on his first offer, but it's only a matter of time when the first one rolls in later this spring. Schools such as Oregon, Baylor, Texas, Oregon State, and Texas State have all had recent contact and are planning to pay him a visit.

Roberson is no stranger to the Bobcats as he was one of the select prospects to attend their junior day on February 1st.

"I went to Texas State's junior day, that's the only one I went to. I got invited to Memphis and Mississippi State's, but didn't make it. It was pretty good, I enjoyed the coaches, the campus, everything. It was a good site to see," said Roberson.

Just last week, Linebackers Coach Brad Franchione reached back out to Deyanta and let him know that he's a prospect of high interest.

"He came and evaluated me and my teammates. He watched my highlights and he was amazed and he said he'll be back to watch me," said Roberson.

Along with good size, Deyanta turned in a 4.5 40-time at January's Army All-American Underclassmen Combine. His personal best is a 4.46.

Head Coach Dennis Franchione has been clear, they wanted more wide-outs in the 2014 class, so they'll have to make up for it in 2015 and that's good news for Roberson.

"If an offer came, I would take advantage of it. The campus is great, coaches are great. I could come in and play as a true freshman. I really like Texas State."
